About Me

sustainability, styling and selfcare

Hey, Lydia Riley, Im a bougie, black hippie mama. I practice yoga in a full set of lashes and meditate with a bold red lip.

Originally from Uganda, I currently stay in the mountains of Utah with my two littles, my husband Ben and our dog Duke. We’re an adventure type of family. Give us all the nature.

In our free time, we hit the road in our RV. I like dry camping, but I stay on the lookout for RV parks with clean hot showers and laundry. Im here for #amenities.

I feel most alive with my hands in the dirt and the sun on my back. Currently, we’re building our dream suburban homestead -garden, chickens and hopefully some bee keeping too. Id really love to grow more of our food.

I know this all makes me seem very zen, and I am. But I usually have trashy reality TV playing in the background. I love the Real Housewives, and my favorites are Beverly Hills and New York. Atlanta and Potomac come in a close second.

On my journey, I’ve been mentored by the most dope queens. They’ve taught me the goodness in all areas, from motherhood to wellness to business. I’m here to pass on all that knowledge to the next queen, who is ready for more.

You can still serve looks while using natural cleaning products. You can still be a great mama while going after your dreams. You can still be fashion, honey, while getting your crunchy on. You can go all-in or be a little bit of everything. I’m on a mission to teach you how to live life on your own terms!

I spent ten years as a single mother before I met my husband, Ben. The first five were a struggle to make ends meet, but I found my way. I grew a big set of balls and created an income for me and my little. It wasn’t easy, but dang, I did that! The lessons I learned lit a fire in me to help other women find their way too. Together we can keep ourselves and our families well and love and honor our Earth.
