Keep on reading to find out all about my top 4 favorite vermicomposters...
The Hot Frog Living Composter ($89)
This vermicomposter is my number one favorite! I use it most of all the worm bins in this list, and I also really love its look. This is definitely a very aesthetically pleasing worm bin. I also love how easy it is to use. The layers come apart and stack together very easily, so you can easily check on your worms and move your compost around as needed! There is also a handy little spigot underneath that helps drain any extra moisture out of your worm bin. This is my favorite feature and something I actually look for in all my worm bins! Tumbleweed Can O Worms Vermicomposter ($150)
I actually first saw this one featured on Oprah, and it definitely caught my attention. This vermicomposter is nice and big, without sacrificing airflow, drainage, or layers! I really like the simplicity, size, and functionality of this one. The Can O Worms is also perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, depending on what you prefer! VermiHut Plus 5-Tray Worm Compost Bin ($99)
I love the VermiHut so much! My favorite part about it is how many trays it has. However, the best part is how much you get with it for what you pay. It comes with a bedding kit, as well as removable dividers to keep your worms where you need them to be. All the trays can be taken apart and restacked easily, too! This worm bin is great for both beginner and experienced vermicomposters. Plus, it also has an amazing drainage spigot and good air circulation! 4-Tray Worm Compost Kit ($49)
So, this one is awesome because it’s so teeny and adorable! You can put it in a closet, under a desk, or anywhere really! This is the perfect worm bin if you only need a little bit of compost, live in a small space, or have roommates that aren’t about the worm life. Plus, it still has removable trays, a drainage valve, and good air circulation! This is definitely my pick for anyone just starting out or on a budget.
