Zion National Park Vacation
Zion National Park in southeast utah is my very favorite national park .
We had a pretty unconventional idea for our Christmas this year. Our big kids werent going to be with us this year- cuz #secondmarriage #blendedfamilies so we decided to lean into our small numbers and spend it in our camper in southern Utah.
To be totally honest, we didn’t exactly plan to go to Zion National Park when we packed up and started driving. In fact we went past it on our way to the Red Rocks just outside of Las Vegas. We just knew that warmth and sunshine was our goal, but we didnt want to spend the entire week in the truck, driving.
So we headed south - celebrated the cutest little one year old boy we know- while in Vegas. Spent an afternoon on the strip, ate a nice meal and then retired back to the camper.
When we woke up we decided not to keep driving south and that’s when we decided to head northeast to Zion National Park.
We hit the jackpot with an awesome RV park just 15 mins outside of the the Park called Zion River Resort. It made all my RV park camper goals come true.

Once we landed in an RV park we loved, we just stayed put for the week. Spending our days packing up for baby and dog friendly hikes - preparing meals, hot tubbing, getting the baby to bed early and then relaxing into the evening. It felt so nice to have these long evening to relax in our cozy little space- maybe eating too much chocolate and drinking too much wine.
I really cant wait for our next adventure. I have so many places Id like to go.
